Svetlana Pesegova

Svetlana Pesegova has been a soloist dancer in the Krashoyarsk Ballet and has been part of numerous companies with a large repertoire behind her. She currently teaches classical dance at the ESAEM Ballet Dance Conservatory and in the Dual Degree in Dramatic Art and Performing Arts.

TRAINING

  • 1985-1993: Studied at the Krasnoyarskiy Khoreografichskiy Colle, finishing her studies with distinction.

WORK EXPERIENCE

During her studies at the college, she did internships at the Opera and Ballet Theatre in works such as “Nutcracker”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Giselle”, “Bayadere”, etc.

Since 1993 she started working in the Krashoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre as a ballet soloist and thus began her classical ballet repertoire: “Gisselle” (Mirta), “Don Quixote” (Fairy maid, village dancer), “One Thousand and One Nights”, “Corsair”. Ç

In 1995 she was invited to work as a prima ballerina at the Syktyokar Opera and Ballet Theatre Here she adds to her repertoire “Swan Lake” (Odette).

After having an accident she could not continue dancing classical ballet and in 1996 she joined the Asia company and toured Europe with it (France, Germany, Belgium and Holland). In the same year she started working in Musical Theatre in Krashyarsk.

1997-1998 she starts working in Warsaw in the Victoria room.

1997-2007. In 1997 she arrived in Spain and began working in José Montes Company, “High Society”.

2004 is when she will start working as a ballet teacher for rhythmic gymnastics in different clubs in Andalusia as “Club Malaga”, “Aldetor Marbella”. Among its students there are several Spanish champions and some of them have even participated in international competitions.

2008-2013 she works with the Canadian Rhythmic Gymnastics Team and helps prepare gymnasts for the London Olympics.

Since 2008 she has been working with the Andalusian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, concentrations of the Andalusian national team.

Since 2018 she has been working as a Senior Lecturer of Classical Dance at ESAEM.
